Project Superintendent

Essential Functions

• Oversee all field operations and total construction effort to ensure all projects are done well.
• Project planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate on-site manpower, materials, equipment and site logistics.
• Submittal review.
• Coordinate all Owner, Architect and Contractor information.
• Oversee and direct all self-preformed work.
• Oversee and direct all subcontracted work.
• Coordinate inspection activities with permit agencies; third-party special inspection and/or owner requirements.
• Maintain project daily log of activities and progress
• Other related tasks and duties as requested.
• Must be able to pass government requirements for securing base access passes
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Essential Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent); a four-year degree in building science, construction management or engineering, preferred. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum 10+ years of building construction experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
• Knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Federal Construction Experience is preferred
• Design/Build Experience is highly preferred or extensive experience with CM/GC delivery, where design team coordination/cooperation was required.
• Experience with management/oversight of self-performed work.
• Experience with construction safety protocols of OSHA & EM-385-1-1.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common construction drawings and specifications, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Willing to do frequent, short duration travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
