The Housing and Community Development Network is a statewide association of community development corporations, public agencies, private sector partners, and housing advocates working together to ensure that everyone has a safe and affordable place to live. In New Jersey we have nearly 400,000 veterans that reside within the state. The Communications and Marketing Specialist will be responsible to develop and outline all communications that address our Veterans and Military Families VISTA project. This will include visual, written, and social media. The AmeriCorps Member will assist in production of videos, webinars and public service announcements that address the target population. In addition, they will add finished work to applicable platforms. He /she will assist in planning outreach strategies to promote and distribute program related materials. He/she must have excellent organizational skills and ability to work on projects that are time sensitive. He/she must have good communications skills and able to work with diverse audiences, both military and nonmilitary. Work samples in all formats may be requested if interviewed.
