Overview:
This position provides support for Omni and Copperworks; it coordinates the settlement of contracts, pricing, and inventory. This position supports daily and monthly processes of the hedge desk.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the settlement discrepancies with customers (communicating to the customers and marketing personnel)
- Import reports from SDI/LaFarga and coordinate all shipping and receiving paperwork
- Responsible for good customer relationships, customer service, and credit status tracking
- Communicate downgrades, rejections, and recoveries to marketing personnel
- Back-up for all administrative functions (originations, change orders, customer communication) and copper assistant
- Responsible for pricing & tracking open sales and purchases for monthly scrap volumes
- Review hedges daily and assists with month-end hedge reconciliation process
- Enter physical/offsetting futures transactions into hedge accounting software
- Upload terminal market data into hedge accounting software
- Strong math and problem-solving skills.
