F5 provides routine, specialized preventative maintenance agreements, for all trades, as well as efficient response service for specific issues. Our staff includes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, handymen, carpentry, masonry, painting, and cleaning technicians, all under one roof.

We are opening branches in other cities as you read this, so there are a lot of opportunities for advancement or even relocating to warmer climates in the future. We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Department Manager in the Pittsburgh, PA office.

Plumbing Department typically handles around 15-30 jobs per day. Each plumber may handle 2-4 calls a day or might be on a job for 2-3 days. This position already has two assistant managers in place, who will help with the service training and works hand in hand with the manager, to manage the team and workload.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train, Manage, and Improve Field Technicians Skill Set.
• Will be responsible for scheduling daily work orders and managing field technicians, write up quotes, coordinate subcontractors, assist with material ordering, and assist the billing department when needed.
• Work with your assistant manager to make sure all quotes are completed on time, materials are ordered, and customers are happy.
• Assign daily jobs to field techs, manage work orders by importance.
• Enjoy working with a Team.
• Emergency calls that do come in on weekends, and need to be managed, are delegated to a technician.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be skilled in commercial plumbing work - familiar with all types of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
• Must be motivated, hardworking, organized, individual with good people skills.
• Must be able to contribute experience to field techs to help troubleshoot and repair property, equipment, and other items in service call requests.
• Prior experience as a field technician is preferred but not mandatory.
• Be detailed oriented and highly organized.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
