Epic Home Care Services, LLC is a home care agency that specializes in caring for children/adults with medically fragile conditions. We offer in-home care and support for our clients while supporting family members with their care-giving duties.

Epic Home Care Services is looking for a highly skilled, compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic CNAs / PCAs interested in providing personal care services for our medically fragile clients.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing personal care and related services to fragile children with special needs in the comfort of their own home, under the direction, instruction and supervision of the supervising nurse (RN). Successful candidates are compassionate, dependable, and energetic individuals who strive for excellence, have high standards of integrity and ethics and enjoy working in a team environment.

***This position is strictly PRN***

Responsibilities:

• Observe the client’s general physical, emotional and mental condition and report all changes to RN.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance.
• Ensure clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Handle emergencies in the home and infection control.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Attend (8) hours of personal care oriented in services per year.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have a valid proof a negative TB test, or be willing to get tested.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certifications from a recognized provider.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
