Church Secretary
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provides church office management of telephone, calendar, prints, correspondence and general church recordkeeping
- Prepare monthly newsletters, weekly bulletins and mailings
- Execution of the priorities of the Pastor and Council
- Serves as center of communication among the church staff and church members
- Church Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 4 pm CT
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- High degree of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Experience with keeping records
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.)
- Familiar with Google Workspace
- Ability to write professional communication
- Successful completion of background check is required
- Ability to onboard quickly to church reporting software
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,280.00 - $22,000.00 per year
