Tasks:

Plans and implements the daily curriculum for children in the classroom

Oversees and coordinates the children’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, specialized programs and positive guidance

Maintains classroom records and developmental checklist

Ensures that the classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe

Inform parents of their children’s progress on a daily basis

Supervises and directs activities of the assistant teacher assigned to the classroom

Keeps director informed on a timely basis of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families, and the program

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, a typical shift is 7 am - 5 pm or 8 am - 6 pm working 4, 10 hour days. They will have one day off per week. 12-month job.

Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation to work

Must be able to physically handle all aspects of the job

Must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
