Position Summary
The Chief Technology Officer oversees our Technology, Engineering and Network Operations. The role is responsible for the development of our network architecture to support new products and network evolution as well as establishing and implementing strategies that have immediate and long-term impacts on the business. As a member of the Senior Team this position participates in overall company strategy development and implementation.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll do a lot of great things in this role and have the opportunity to expand into other areas, but the key responsibilities you can expect to perform on a regular basis include:
- Establish and implement company’s overall technical strategy for the delivery of current and future broadband services
- Coordinate the design, development, marketing and maintenance of technology projects or product lines
- Executive level management of external vendor and product selection, RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations
- Set and implement technical and operating performance standards that meet or exceed statutory and regulatory requirements and company/industry standards, including developing and managing specific internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Designs and implements backbone network including capacity management and network augmentation
- Leads a team of engineers, inspiring them to think about new ways to design, build, and operate networks, products, and services
- Effectively manage business unit financial results including detailed reporting and the preparation of an annual budget. Manage expenditure and overall cost control.
What Sets You Apart?
- Bachelor of Science in a related engineering discipline of Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Network, or other relevant course of study
- MBA preferred
- 5+ years Executive Technical Management experience
- 10+ years relevant experience in the telecommunication and broadband industry
- Experience leading engineering teams following multiple disciplines
- Experience managing projects from a high level
- Financial management and results reporting experience
- Strong servant leadership skills
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- Excellent internal and external relationship building skills
- Preferred skills include RF and Optical network engineering, experience with Video, Voice, Broadband Internet, WiFi, and Internet Network Design & Implementation
