Chabad of Greater Daytona is a Jewish community center and Hebrew School in Ormond Beach FL. Our goal is to Manage our Kitchen which serves lunch twice weekly to our students plus during weekly Saturday event, as well as other community functions
We are seeking a cook/chef/kitchen wiz for our non-profit organization. This is a mostly solo position preparing and cooking meals for approx. 175 people at our community events.
Responsibilities:
- Lead kitchen in food preparation and menu planning with dietary restrictions.
- Manage inventory, order ingredients and supplies and develop relationships with suppliers and distributors.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Thursday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ormond Beach FL, 32174.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Culinary experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Cooking: 2 years (Preferred)
