Job title: Fabricator

Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor

We have an immediate opening for a qualified Fabricator in our Fabrication Department. This position will be responsible for the fabrication and some welding of metal cabinets, structures, channel letters, bases, and/or other sign components.

Duties and responsibilities

• Fabrication of small and large signs
• Uses cranes and other lifting devices to assemble heavy steel structures
• Perform quality, accurate, and timely work.
• Welding steel and aluminum structural components and subcomponents
• Operate use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
• Welding
• Lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of your shop area.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or sign fabrication(preferred).
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Read, write, and speak English
• Self-motivated
• Works well in a team and independently

Working conditions & Physical Requirements

• May be required to stand for the majority of workday
• May involve some repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers
• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold

Certification requirements

• Welding Certification
• Others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role

Shifts

• First Shift: 6AM to 2:30PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
