Park Manor of McKinney is hiring Certified Medication Aides. We have wonderful staff, you will be well trained and supported by a caring team. If you are interested in a rewarding career in healthcare and dedicated to caring for others we look forward to hearing from you!

Available Shifts:

• 2pm – 10pm M-F

Overview:

• The Medication Aide provides medications and treatments through proper administration procedures.
• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration in resident's chart.
• Takes vital signs or observes resident to identify response to medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Receives supply of ordered medications for administration.
• Assists residents in activities of daily living as needed and as appropriate.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Provides assistance to charge nurses with the cleanliness of the nursing station, medication room and supply room.

Qualifications:

• Texas CNA and Medication Aide Certificate is required
• Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor)
• Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
