Casino Marketing Representative - On Call (MGM Springfield)

THE JOB:

As a Casino Marketing Representative, you will set the stage by being a front-line ambassador for the property while supporting the Casino Marketing Department's Special Events, Promotions and VIP events.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

You will be responsible for preparation, execution, customer service and post event activities alongside with your teammates of the Casino Marketing Department. Such tasks may include but are not limited to event set-up and breakdown and gather/organize event supplies, maintain inventory of promotional items, maintain an organized workspace and assist guests with promotion participation. Also, may be assigned administrative duties such as office support (use of multi-line phones, computer, fax, copier, etc), filing, drafting memos, telemarketing and office runner, complete event registrations, accurate guest check-ins and gift redemptions while simultaneously using multiple computer software programs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

· Must be able to obtain a Service License from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission

· Exhibits a professional demeanor and willingness to assist guests whenever requested.

· Looks forward to interacting with guests and has willingness to learn

· Previous marketing/promotional or customer service experience

· Has a flexible schedule as hours will vary

· Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.

· Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences

· Likes to create an environment that promotes safety and mutual respect

· Highly motivated, service oriented and energetic

· Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to resolve guest inconveniences

· Basic computer skills
