We are seeking a professional like you for the Business Applications Manager who will be responsible for regional development, implementation, and optimization of Supply Chain processes in SAP APO (SNP, DP, PPDS), IBP (Demand & Supply) and SAP R3 / S4 HANA.

As a Business Applications Manager you create chemistry by…

• Analyzing business process requirements and translate them to system functional, logical design and implementation. Ensure that system application related practices are aligned with business strategic objectives.
• Ensuring correct master data set-up according to MD guidance and regional specifics. Monitor master data quality and resolve MD errors for regional materials (finished goods, intermediate, active ingredients, raw materials).
• Providing technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolutions related to supply chain applications
• “Going To” person to answer system functionality, business process questions and navigate through transactions.
• Creating and maintaining documentation of business processes and transactional knowledge of APO and SAP system.
• Providing pro-active guidance and training to the Supply Chain Team members to ensure smooth planning and execution in supply chain processes in SAP system.
• Leading user testing (UAT), system upgrades and implementation activities.
• Collaborating with Global Supply Chain Excellence, external service providers and functional business experts to develop future planning and reporting tools
• Leading and contributing to special projects that improve and enhance planning performance throughout supply chain organization.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Your formula for success…

• Bachelor's Degree in business management, information technology, supply chain, engineering or quantitative field
• 5 or more years of experience with supply chain planning processes and architectures for a business that is highly seasonal and dynamic
• Proven experience designing & delivering complex planning solutions
• Prior experience working with, or supporting, SAP/APO or other ERP based planning systems as a functional expert
• Prior experience in a customer focused / consulting role
