Please have :Extensive background in bookkeeping and accounting is a must.
We are looking for a Highly organized office bookkeeper with strong accounting knowledge and numerical ability.
Possess excellent bookkeeping, data entry, and administrative skills to keep and update accurate financial records as well as organize and ensure smooth running of office operations.
Job Prerequisites:
● Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting term concepts
● Strong experience in record keeping, data entry, office management and administration
● Proficiency using QuickBooks, Excel ,Word, and other bookkeeping software applications
● Strong analytical skills to identify financial or other issues and identify solutions
● Attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
● Expertise in prioritizing and organizing workflow
Developed various new strategies and procedures to improve overall productivity
● Assisted in employee recruitment and training
● Negotiate with suppliers/vendors
● Participate in the development of and support of the company strategic plans
● Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
● Monitor the financial performance of the company
● Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and compared system reports to balances
● Maintain personnel files
● Work under minimal supervision
Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable
● Monitor payments due from customers
● Reconcile company bank and credit card accounts
● Answer calls for accounting issues from both vendors and customers
● Record day to day financial transactions and completed the posting process
● Keep track of company records and documents
● Meeting and appointments scheduling
Set up and maintain vendor files with required insurance tracking
● Track all job details including job vs estimates, receivables, and job closing entries
● File preliminary notices as needed
● Weekly job costing
● Prepare financial statements
● Reconcile and balance all bank/credit card accounts
● Analyze any discrepancies in both AR/AP
● Contact individuals with delinquent accounts
● Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies
● Review AR aging to ensure compliance
● General office clerk/ admin assistant duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
