Position Title: Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager
Location: Bradford, VT

Job Type: Full-time 40 hours, On-Site

Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8:30-5pm

Requirements:

  • High-School diploma & 4+ years of professional bookkeeping experience, with experience working in a small to medium sized company of around 40 people
  • Must have a high degree of knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures of accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Fast and accurate typing.
  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Excellence in reliability

Role Summary:
The Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager must possess a passion for numbers and order, as well as the ability to understand the intricate details of a daily cash business. This team member must be able to communicate and collaborate with the leadership, managers, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating finance processes including posting daily sales entries
  • Processing check runs
  • Accounts Payable & Receivables management
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Creating Purchase Orders and receiving inventory
  • Record keeping & filing
  • Excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Maintain accounting records and general ledger for all accounts.
  • preparation of sales reports.
  • General Ledger, bank/credit card reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
