Position Title: Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager
Location: Bradford, VT
Job Type: Full-time 40 hours, On-Site
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8:30-5pm

Requirements:
- High-School diploma & 4+ years of professional bookkeeping experience, with experience working in a small to medium sized company of around 40 people
- Must have a high degree of knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks.
- Fast and accurate typing.
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Excellence in reliability
Role Summary:
The Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager must possess a passion for numbers and order, as well as the ability to understand the intricate details of a daily cash business. This team member must be able to communicate and collaborate with the leadership, managers, vendors and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating finance processes including posting daily sales entries
- Processing check runs
- Accounts Payable & Receivables management
- Maintaining office supplies
- Creating Purchase Orders and receiving inventory
- Record keeping & filing
- Excellent telephone communication skills.
- Maintain accounting records and general ledger for all accounts.
- preparation of sales reports.
- General Ledger, bank/credit card reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
