Potential for qualified candidates up to $35.70 / hr

• Top rate = $31.20
• Lead Pos = $2.00
• ASE = Up to $2.50

PURPOSE
What is the overall purpose and objective of this position (why does the position exist)?
To perform various duties in preparation and performance of body repair and painting tasks for fleet

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
What do you have to be able to do to achieve the desired results of your job?

• Supervise shop staff (including, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, reviews, training, etc)
• Estimate writing for Technicians, Safety Department, Customers and Insurance
• Ensure that all necessary repairs and adjustments are completed on all equipment
• Review & oversee record keeping functions for shop in computer system
• Order, ship & receive parts to maintain shop inventories
• Maintain a quality control on all aspects of the shop
• Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely, and correctly to pass quality inspections.
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment,
• Prepare surfaces and apply paint using proper tools
• Data entry of required information into repair database

OTHER DUTIES
What are the other duties aside from the essential duties?

• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
What is required to perform the Essential Duties?

• Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess at least 2 years experience or equivalent education in painting and body repair
• Must possess knowledge of tools, maintenance, practices and procedures necessary to prepare and paint automobile and other surfaces
• Must possess knowledge of standard safety rules and regulations or products and chemicals in the industry
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Overtime may be required during peak periods.
• Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
• Must be able to spend 75% of day standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching
