Baker
We are looking for a Baker to prepare different types of bread for our wholesale customers. Baker's evening shift starts at 4p, the nightshift starts at 12a, mix dough, prepare recipes, bake bread to customer's specifications. To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, a self-starter and have the ability to handle a fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Arrive to the bakery on time
- Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare recipes
- Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
- Mix/Shape various doughs and ingredients to create different recipes
- Clean equipment and tools after shift
Skills
- Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheets
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
