Summary:

Conduct team member pre-employment background checks and submit recommendations to Management. Perform record searches with police agencies, courthouses, educational institutions, and financial institutions. Maintain confidentiality of investigations, materials, files, and communications.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Conduct background investigations into potential new hire and transferring team members for the purpose of determining employment suitability; providing formal recommendations to Background Investigation Manager
• Conduct due diligence investigations on potential vendors
• Ensure all recordkeeping, documentation, and paperwork administration is kept organized and up to date
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing same or similar duties preferred
• Previous experience in gaming compliance, law enforcement or security field preferred
• Previous proven ability to complete multiple projects in a timely manner
• Ability to coordinate, organize, file, retain and recall confidential filing
• Previous experience successfully working independently without assigned deadlines
• Accurate attention to detail
• Proven ability to critically analyze and interpret information and make sound decisions and recommendations involving high level and sensitive information
• Proven success applying common sense to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and internet navigation for conducting research
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
