The Azure Cloud Architect develops innovative solutions and technology strategy around Cloud landscape. They own the solution design across technologies in a Hybrid environment: on-Prem/Azure.

The Azure Cloud Architect will play a key role in modernizing Innophos Cloud Infrastructure by providing consistent, accurate, documented, and timely information about key Azure Cloud resources. They will be responsible for management and control of definitions, usage, access, and security of the key information of Innophos. They will participate and help in coordinating information for Internal and External Auditors.

This position is located at our corporate office in Cranbury, NJ and offers a hybrid working schedule of 3x/week in office and 2x/week remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Owns solution design for cross domain initiatives and works across domains to ensure cohesive solution
• Reviews and identifies the gaps in the architecture and solution designs, assesses and defines remediation efforts or mitigation options
• Drives to practical solutions considering all teams, initiatives and long-term outlook
• Drives the overall technical design and end-to-end solution design for assigned initiatives
• Ensures quality, consistency and alignment of designs to organization s standards and digital strategy
• Drives large cross domain initiatives that are supported by Move-to-Cloud initiatives, applies digital standards to project Solution Architecture, drives Technical Strategy and architectural tradeoff discussions

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Azure: 5+ years
• cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.: 3 years (Preferred)
• (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC: 3 years (Preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-303, AZ-304), Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency with Azure public cloud architecture, including Regions, AZ, High Availability, DR, Monitoring, etc.
• Expert hands-on experience using Azure public cloud services (API Gateway, AKS, Event Hub, Azure Storage, API Developer Portal, Azure Container, Azure Monitor, Data Factory, etc.)
• Experienced with security best practices and have successfully hosted web applications on the cloud
• Designing Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs
• Develop Azure cost & chargeback models for applications
• Review application requirements and come-up with best suited platform architecture & services
• Strong Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS SharePoint
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of database concepts and query languages
• Strong written, technical documentation, and oral communication skills
• Effective time management, ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner
• Experience with IT Security Audit and related documentation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional results over an extended period of time
• Proficiency understanding of project management methodologies and tools
