JOB SUMMARY: CFSB partners with financial technology companies for card issuing services and third-party payment processors for merchant acquiring sponsorships. New partnership opportunities are sourced from multiple channels and the primary purpose of this role is to build new client relationships and strengthen existing relationships. The ideal candidate will have prior business development experience in the payments industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for Card Services partnership discussions
  • Track all partnership opportunities and prioritize new deal execution based upon feedback from the EVP, Card Services
  • Travel as necessary to meet prospective clients at industry events or their offices to facilitate business development discussions
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services based upon prospective and existing client feedback
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank including compliance, finance, information technology, and thirdparty risk management to assist new client relationships
  • Collaborate with third-party processors and vendors to troubleshoot client relationship issues as necessary
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Three years or more of prior business development experience in the payments industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to function well within a team and advocate for the needs of delegated client relationships
  • Strong presentation skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated to perform in a time sensitive work environment.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field
