The Department of Transportation - Airports Division has ONE (1) urgent vacancy located at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Shift Work: All applicants must be available to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
As a condition of employment with the State of Hawaii some positions may require that all qualified external candidates who have been given a conditional offer of employment to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and shall be fully vaccinated by his/her/their employment start date. This is the working supervisory level which supervises and participates in performing the full range of technical work in the installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electromechanical automated systems and associated equipment.
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Specialized Experience:

THREE (3) and ONE-HALF (1/2) years of work experience in testing, maintaining and repairing a variety of electronic and electromechanical equipment.

At least ONE (1) YEAR of the Specialized Experience required must be at the fully proficient, independent diagnostic and repair worker level.
Driver's License: You must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Federal Criminal History Records Check: In accordance with Federal regulations, persons who are being considered for employment in positions which require unescorted access to secured areas at the airport must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check. In order to be granted the SIDA clearance, prospective employees must not have been convicted, or found "not guilty by reason of insanity," of a disqualifying criminal offense within 10 years from the date of the application. Upon recommendation for hire, prospective employees will be required to successfully undergo the fingerprint-based criminal history record check and be found free of disqualifying convictions during the preceding ten years.
