Tiello has partnered with a General Contractor in Dallas, TX on their search for an Assistant Project Manager to work on Industrial/Tilt-Up/Self-Storage projects.

The Assistant Project Manager will be a company representative and will serve as a point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required.

Project Types: Self-Storage, Commercial Ground-Up, Light Industrial, Tilt-Wall

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with owners, architects, and company personnel on construction projects throughout the many phases of project development and execution.
  • Manage the relationships with project owner and architect.
  • Manage an individual project, or multiple projects concurrently, depending on assignment.
  • Directly, or through subordinates, manage the project schedule, project contract documents, change management, project cost management, project records and documentation, and meetings with project stakeholders (owner, architect, engineer, subcontractors, etc.).
  • Work closely with company support departments (e.g. Accounting, HR, Safety, Quality Assurance, etc.) in the execution of project work to maximize success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the community.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Construction experience in the light industrial space
  • Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
  • BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
