Work Description:

• Uses mechanical skills to assemble products (units and/or sub-assemblies) without quality defects
• May pull needed parts to assemble products
• May read blue prints and other drawings to ensure products are assembled correctly
• Operates hand and air-powered tools such as impact wrenches, manual and powered screwdrivers, sockets, and other assorted power and hand tools
• Update information in manufacturing software regarding job data
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school degree or GED equivalent is required
• Ability to interpret blueprints and instructional drawings preferred; aptitude to learn this skill is required
• Mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to use hand tools are required
• Comprehension of machine tolerance preferred; aptitude to learn this concept is required
• Computer skills are required
• Team Lead experience a plus
• 1+ years of related experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. over 2/3 of workday
• Other physical activity may include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands and fingers
• Fine motor skills required to use small parts in assemblies
