Job Summary:

The Application Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining company application infrastructures and software-based processes.

The job will include, but not be limited to:

• Maintain and develop application infrastructures for use for company operations
• Create Android and web-based applications for use throughout the company
• Perform various project requests for various departments
• Build and maintain Data Marts and Data Cubes
• Utilize company approved versioning such as the company GitLab, Git and TFS
• Write C#, Java, VB, python, and C++ programs for process improvement
• Write store procedure in SQL to retrieve data from Retalix
• Assist in resolving administrative and operation problems
• Provides information by answering questions and requests

Minimum Requirements:

• AA- Computer Information Systems degree or equivalent
• A minimum of two to three years of experience with primary responsibility
• Requires experience in MS SQL, MySQL, and IBM DB2 database schemas

• Read and writing Structure Query Language (SQL), Android, C#, Java, JavaScript, php3, HTML5, python and C++
• Experience in project coordination, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
• Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office as Project Plan, Vision, Excel, etc.
• Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
• Must have excellent communications skills – written and verbal
• Strong and professional communication skills (written and oral) in English
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
• Ability to manage and complete multiple responsibilities within established timeframes.
• Experience with Android Studio, Eclipse, Visual Studio, and other IDE platforms

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• No unusual physical requirement and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.
• Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting to 20 pounds.
• Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have advance notice; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
