Alesong Brewing and Blending is a boutique, artisan brewery specializing in barrel-aged beers and located in a scenic wine country location roughly 20 miles Southwest of Eugene. Founded in 2015, we have been fortunate enough to receive a number of awards and recognitions including medals at the Great American Beer Festival, the Best of Craft Beer Awards, and the Oregon Beer Awards. We were named small brewery of the year at the 2021 Oregon Beer Awards.

Currently managed and staffed by a small team of 12, we are seeking to hire a creative and enthusiastic chef to take charge of the day-to-day operations of the newly opening Alesong kitchen! This team member will be responsible for developing and executing a casual seasonal menu that strongly highlights and complements Alesong’s beer offerings in addition to regular food and beer pairing events. The ideal candidate for this position will be a well-rounded individual that has experience working in a professional, scratch kitchen and is excited by the chance to launch a restaurant and exercise their creativity with regular recipe and menu development.

This team member will work with the Director of Hospitality (DOH) to develop creative menu offerings and maintain standard operating procedures of the Alesong kitchen.

Schedule: 1 full-time opening including both weekdays and weekends (Thursday-Sunday) with opportunities for additional hours for special events. Regularly scheduled 8-hour shifts (afternoon-early evening).

Compensation: $18-22/hr DOEplus $3-$7/hr estimated tip pool share, company sponsored health, vision and dental insurance, $100 monthly tasting room credit & beer benefits at releases
