The basis function of the ADON is to assist the Director of Nursing in the overall management of the Nursing department. Provide routine daily care and services that support the care delivered to patients requiring long term or rehabilitative care, in accordance with the established nursing care procedures and as directed by your supervisor. 10 hours per month will be required to work in the Assisted Living Facility.

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care and short-term rehab
• Service-orientated (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic, and respectful demeanor)
• Able to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)
• Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
• Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities

Continental Springs is a unique continuing care complex in beautiful South Sioux City, Nebraska. We are comprised of a Skilled Nursing Center, Assisted Living Apartments, Studio Suites, Respite Care and Rehabilitation Services for long and short term care. We accept payments from Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurance and Private pay. We have spacious, private, and semiprivate rooms with a host of amenities including, activities, dining services, laundry, housekeeping, personal care, and more. Here at Continental Springs we focus on providing patient-centered care for our residents. One of our goals as a facility is to provide an atmosphere where our residents maintain their independence within a setting that provides for their individualized level of care. We provide a multitude of activities which engage our residents and encourage their participation in the community. Continental Springs is designed to care for those recovering from hospitalization. This includes those suffering from illness or injury and those in need of more complex medical care. Our interdisciplinary team works closely with the patient, their physician, and the resident's family to achieve the best possible outcomes. Upon discharge of a resident, our social services department will also coordinate community resources for home care.
