This position will start in Bantam, however we are scheduled to move to a new location in Naugatuck, this Fall 2023.

Department Overview

The twenty2 IT department is well suited to those who enjoy continuously learning and growing to keep pace with an evolving company. We manage a diverse range of tasks, from company wide system development and implementation, to training our team members, creating and posting simple signage and maintaining the cleanliness of our equipment. Curious, organized, and persistent skillsets are a good match for this department.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the timely resolution of technical support issues for staff
• Open and complete support tickets with IT contractor to resolve issues
• Communicate verbal and written technical information in accessible terms to staff
• Research, trial, and recommend new hardware and software, as requested
• Report work accomplished to Lead in regular check-ins
• Assist senior IT staff on a variety of tasks, including:
  • Cyber security training and response
  • Troubleshooting issues for staff, such as connectivity or access problems
  • Installing and configuring software and hardware
  • Installing patches and other updates
  • Physical device maintenance
  • Company system use training for staff
  • Creating training materials and signage for staff

Skills

• Proficient in macOS and iOS
• Familiar with Windows and Android
• Proficient or familiar with Google Workspace
• Analytical diagnosing, problem solving and decision making skills
• Strong task management and followthrough on projects to successful completion
• Ability to stay apprised of and meet deadlines
• Ability to concentrate and remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects
• Drive to troubleshoot to extent of skills before escalating to senior staff, if needed
