WWH2H is looking for an Administrative Assistant (AA) to join their US based team in Clackamas, Oregon. In this position, you will aid the Ministry with raising the kids under our care through administrative and office support activities. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, shopping for kid's clothes, school supplies & gifts, creating communication documents, presentations and reports. Strong communication skills, as well as computer skills and Internet research abilities are needed.
Job Qualifications

  • Office administration experience
  • Demonstrate transparent and high integrity leadership
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Publisher
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups
  • Must be Able to Lift 50 Pounds

Preferred:

  • AA degree in related field
  • Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, and task facilitation
  • Proficiency in the use of technology, for example: e-mail programs; multi-national communication systems; social media

  • Prepare Team Orientation Manual
  • Hotel Reservations
  • Reserve Rental Vans/Trucks
  • Perform Background Checks
  • Purchase Team/Volunteer Insurance
  • Prepare Team Books
  • Prepare Team Leader Packet
  • Order T-Shirts & Luggage Tags
  • Prepare Customs Letter

Assist Banquet Coordinator (seasonal)

  • Guest Lists
  • Sponsor and Table Host Correspondence

Office:

  • Manage Calendars
  • Field and screen telephone calls
  • Light House Keeping (See Office List)

Sponsors Communications:

  • Prepare and Mail New Sponsor Cards and Information
  • Edit, Print and Mail Monthly Newsletter. Content is provided by WWH2H President
  • Assist with organization/coordination of letters to and from Sponsors for Children
  • Oversee Volunteers when needed

Children's Gifts & Clothing

  • Purchase clothes and school uniforms for each child
  • Assist with purchase of Birthday & Christmas gifts as needed
  • Arrange for delivery of clothes and gifts to Honduras

Spiritual Qualities:

  • The requirements for eldership as described in Titus 1, I Timothy 3, etc.
  • Qualities of the fruit of the Spirit, Galatians 5.
  • A concern for the ministry to broken children, the training of young leaders, and openness to working with the entire Body of Christ.

Hours

  • Monday through Thursday
  • 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
  • Lunch -1 Hour 12:00 P.M. -1:00 P.M.
  • One week Paid Vacation per year
  • 8 Paid HolidaysNew Year’s Day

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
