Penn Medicine - Becker ENT & Allergy is a fast-growing, multi-specialty practice with several locations throughout Philadelphia and Central and South Jersey. Our staff includes otolaryngologists, audiologists, facial plastic surgeons, allergists, speech-language pathologists, and nurse practitioners and we offer specialized care for a wide range of health problems.

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our company in Voorhees, NJ. This role is ideal for someone who has strong customer service skills and works well under pressure. By joining Penn Medicine Becker ENT & Allergy, you will be joining a practice with plenty of room for growth. Prior experience in a medical setting and Epic EMR is a plus!

Job Duties:

• Daily follow-up of assigned A/R accounts assigned by payer
• Verify the status of medical claims, check for accuracy and revise any errors or discrepancies
• Follow up on medical bills and claims that have been sent to insurance carriers
• Request payment from insurance carriers
• Research and re-bill unpaid claims
• Work claim denials and take any necessary action (i.e. file an appeal, submit a replacement claim, etc)
• Research and investigate aged accounts receivable
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with billing team
• Maintain confidentiality of all records per HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations
