Pauley Construction has a fantastic opportunity available! We are looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist to work out of our Phoenix, Arizona office. The position of Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for matching invoices to checks paid to various sources while ensuring we are meeting the necessary deadlines as outlined by the Accounts Payable Manager. This position will also assist with filing and organization of Accounts Payable records. Overview:
This position will be responsible for matching invoices to checks paid to various sources while ensuring we are meeting the necessary deadlines as outlined by the Accounts Payable Manager. This position will also assist with filing and organization of Accounts Payable records. This position may interface with external customers and must maintain accurate records at all times.

Position available consists of general office duties consisting of and related to:
- Must be able to manage standard office duties such as answering phone calls and returning messages and greeting customers as needed.
- This position assumes all clerical tasks to accurately maintain and report items as required.
- Filing invoices into appropriate folders
- Scanning, Uploading and saving all Accounts Payable documents
- Matching Accounts Payable invoices to checks paid to subcontracts, venders, etc.
- Follow up on any changes that need to be made
- Make sure to check the Accounts Payable inbox frequently.
- Maintaining organized records
- This position may assist in some payroll tasks as needed or as backup
- Other administrative duties as assigned by Accounts Payable Manager
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver license
- General experience in A/R or A/P related work
- Must be able to effectively communicate with crew.
- Maintain a positive attitude with team.
- Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic ability to use standard office equipment (printer, fax, computer, scanner)
- Keep appropriate documentation (time cards, job cost, etc.)
