What We NeedFLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an Account Manager within our CLC division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is a remote position. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison and relationship manager for our customer, while providing unparalleled service netting, service recovery, and technical assistance. The Account Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities to integrate our travel program within our client’s organization and is expected to ensure our client’s needs are understood and delivered from each of our internal departments. This position requires the individual to be extremely detailed oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The employee needs to have highly developed customer service skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment with service deliverables at a premium expectation. You will report directly to Director of Workforce Client Services and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Account manager on a top-volume account, which includes full understanding of the customer’s organization and business functions and how best to manage lodging, transportation, and event needs, from sourcing through invoicing
- Working in partnership with our day-to-day contacts as well as other key stakeholders in the customer’s organization, to define account preferences, and activity
- Exhibiting and utilizing knowledge of hotel industry and markets associated with the client’s industry
- Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
- Generating regular and ad hoc reporting on key metrics and per customer request frequently
- Acting as the liaison between the customer and all other departments for problem resolution and service recovery
- Making recommendations for compliance and travel policy enhancements and update as business needs change
- Driving account retention and growth of contract business through strong performance and relationships
- Monitoring and managing account in accordance with all key metrics, both from the organization and our customer
- Conducting regular business reviews and audits on multiple weekly meetings, scheduled and on-demand
- Attending all scheduled trainings, meetings, or other events as assigned by supervisor or other levels of leadership
- Traveling as necessary to meet the client and business needs
- On-call duties for emergency client needs and rotating weekend on-call coverage
- Responsible for all other duties assigned as needed
- College degree or 3-5 years previous account management related experience
- Ability to travel as needed
- Flexibility in work schedule as needed, ability to work additional days/hours as needed
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and navigating the internet
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and deliver superior service with a high degree of accuracy
- High level of professionalism
- Demonstrated strong ability to negotiate, teach others, and report on key metrics
- Demonstrate a high focus on managing up on responsibilities
- Highly skilled in consulting, negotiating, and communicating with customers
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve at a high level through critical thinking
- Demonstrates ability to learn and grow depth of industry knowledge
- Excellent personal interaction, communication, and phone skills along with a high degree of initiative, personal responsibility, ownership, and commitment to providing the highest level of customer service
