JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible assembling parts on or off the line according to the schedule set by team leader or supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble parts according to the information in the packets and/or databases but all work must be spot checked by an A or B assembler.
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners
- Checks finished parts for completeness, defects or damage
- Package parts for safe travel
- Alerts supervisor to equipment or quality problems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Blueprint reading and measuring equipment experience preferred
- 6 months of prior experience is preferred
- Experience using power tools is required
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
