Description of the team:
The Anti-Financial Crime Compliance team members are the subject matter experts in a multitude of different Compliance topics. The most prominent topics are Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), Anti-Fraud and Economic Sanctions.
Core responsibilities of team include providing advice and training to the business partners, regulatory reporting as well as the ongoing performance of Compliance controls and monitoring activities.
Furthermore, the Frankfurt-based team serves as a global hub to coordinate with Compliance teams in USA and AP.
Role & responsibilities:
We are looking for a working student to support our team particularly in the following areas:
- Assist the team with the performance of AML-Compliance-related monitoring activities (e.g. desk reviews);
- Processing of alerts generated by sanctions screening tools
- Updating the Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) Register
- Monitoring of outsourced Compliance activities
- Support the coordination with other Compliance teams in USA and AP (e.g. by collecting input and producing tables and presentations);
- Take ownership for small projects when they arise.
Experience & knowledge:
- Preferably a student in Business, Legal or Economics (at least 5. Semester)
- Fluency in English required, further languages would be highly beneficial
- Basic knowledge of the financial services
- Practical experience in Legal or Compliance work would be beneficial
Skills:
- Open minded and able to work in a multinational team
- Basic skills in MS Excel an PowerPoint are a must
