Full Time Wine and Spirits Receiver
Must be 18+ years old
Starting at $16.00/hr. - $20.00/hr.

Position Description: Stew Leonard’s Wines of Yonkers, NY offers the best selection of wine and spirits at amazing prices. Customers love shopping at Stew Leonard’s Wines.
A Warehouse Receiver is responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of product and placement in specific areas of the warehouse. Received goods are unloaded and content is broken down and reviewed to ensure the correct items and quantities have been delivered based on the purchase order.

Education and Experience (include knowledge, skills and abilities):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have forklift experience/license
• Good communication skills, both written and oral in English
• Good organizational skills
• Possesses basic math skills
• The ability to multi-task

• The ability to problem solver and work as a team
• Flexible

Working Conditions: The wine store is a retail environment with a sales floor, front end, office space, break room, and warehouse. Every team member interacts with all areas of the store. Merchandise is thoughtfully displayed on the sales floor to allow for comfortable movement by team members and customers. Warehousing space can be tight depending on inventory levels. Occasionally there is need to enter the parking lot, and rear of the building where team members will be subjected to weather conditions. Driving and normal road conditions during deliveries should also be expected.
