Full Job Description
Summary/Objective: We are looking for someone with integrity, who is dedicated and highly responsible, with a great attitude. You must be comfortable working at high heights and able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods. The ideal candidate arrives to work on time, is familiar with effective window cleaning tools and techniques, and ensures clients are satisfied with the cleanliness of their windows. No prior experience required, just a can-do attitude and the motivation to learn.
Job Details
Salary: Starting at $20 per hour
Job Type: Starting part-time leading to Full-time
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM with opportunity for overtime and the occasional alternate start-times pending the client
Job Duties/Essential Functions:
- Removing dirt and grime from windows and glass surfaces using a non-abrasive glass cleaning solutions, water, and rubber squeegee blades,
- Ability to safely operate a water fed pole up to heights of 40 feet,
- Determining whether window glass is clear, reflective, or tinted, and adapting window cleaning techniques accordingly,
- Using a scrim or microfiber cloth to dry around the edges of the glass,
- Using toweling clothes to remove excess water and moisture from windowsills,
- Ensuring that we are always adequately stocked with window cleaning supplies,
- Appropriately cleaning up after each job to ensure that there is no residue left behind,
- Other additional duties may be assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent,
- Must have a COVID vaccination card or be willing to be tested for clients requesting a test,
- Must possess a clean driving record,
- Ability to pass a drug test,
- Must be able to pass a Background check,
- Must have the ability to commute to various locations in San Diego County,
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand/walk up to eight hours at a time.
- Able to lift to 40 lbs.
- Able to move equipment which would include pushing, pulling, stooping and shoving, and bending.
- Able to work outdoors may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions such as rain, cold temperatures, direct sunlight high heat, and humidity.
- Ability to climb stairs.
