The Opportunity:

The Operations Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the production process of our kitting / manufacturing line. The successful candidate will have a background in general equipment mechanics and preferably possess a certification in the field. They will also have experience executing routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting line equipment. They will ensure the Team Members & Equipment are set up for consistent success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review production schedule & oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing line, ensuring that production targets are met.
• Perform equipment startup / shut down and make the necessary adjustments throughout the shift to ensure service level targets are met.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate repairs as necessary.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and production standards.
• Monitor and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that finished products meet customer specifications.
• Maintain inventory levels of supplies and raw materials needed for production, including kitting materials.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• General equipment mechanical experience and or certification required.
• Bundler, shrink wrap and heat tunnel equipment experience preferred.
• Warehouse & Kitting experience required.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience managing a small team of 6 to 10 team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification and or experience preferred.
