KEY OBJECTIVE(S)
The Tourism Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Global Tourism team in helping to manage relationships with key segments within the travel industry, including groups, hotel and concierge partnerships, and tour operators (OTA’s) to maximize volume and revenue in addition to increasing
visibility for American Dream within the contracted B2B and B2C channels.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain regular communications with hotel partners to keep them engaged about relevant American Dream news, happenings, and unique opportunities for guests and to gain insight and feedback on how AD can continue to improve the partnership.
- Assist with keeping hotels supplied with all components required of their respective partnerships (brochures, room package items, special promotional items, etc.)
- Assist with all ticketing requests, including responding to requests made through the general tourism sales email account.
- Support the contracting process, including developing new contracts, amendments, and renewals. Facilitate edits through the internal legal team.
- Facilitate promotional barcode requests for new and existing partners.
- Respond to client & OTA refunds and other requests.
- Keep up-to-date client communication within the internal CRM (Salesforce)
- Generate sales and tracking reports for internal key-stake holders.
- Understand the internal ticketing system to generate reports, set up ticket packages, and change and update products.
- Help to organize key tradeshows, sales missions, and events.
- Attend select in-market networking events and industry meetings.
- Maintain a good brand presence on partner sites, print collateral, and digital marketing spaces.
- Participate in the execution of various promotional activities, marketing, and advertising campaigns.
- Any additional duties as needed.
- Undergraduate degree in tourism management, hospitality management, marketing, and business administration and 1-3 years of experience in a related field
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with Salesforce and ticketing systems is beneficial.
- Strong written and oral communication, excellent attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to recognize the importance of responsibility, authority, and accountability.
- Ability to interact well with various people and personalities of all levels.
