$60,000 - $85,000 yearly

We are a start-up real estate title agency looking for a skilled Title Closer to join our team. As a Title Closer, you will be responsible for overseeing the closing process of real estate transactions and ensuring all legal requirements are met. You will be working with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

• Review title commitments
• Satisfy title requirements
• Balance CDs and coordinate with lenders
• Coordinate and conduct real estate closings
• Provide the highest level of client responsiveness to title questions
• Review signed closing packages for accuracy
• Manage files from opening to post-closing.
• Draft Closing Disclosures, ALTAs and balance escrow
• Clear title issues with minimal supervision
• Understand corporates entities and Firpta
• Read and understand Survey
• Consistent communication with realtors, mortgage brokers, lenders, and clients to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate transactions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• A minimum of five (5) years real estate closing and title experience
• Strong and demonstrated working knowledge in the proper preparation of Closing Disclosures, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, accurately balancing files and clearing title issues
• Ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting with minimal supervision
• A high level of professionalism and courtesy in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with closing software is preferred
• Familiarity with major underwriters and NATIC Platforms are a plus.
• Be extremely organized, reliable and have undivided attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong interpersonal, administrative skills and handling high volume of files; be able to prioritize tasks.
• Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional and polished with excellent customer service skills
• Must have the flexibility to conduct late closings when required and attend business functions when required.
• Notary Public is a plus
• The ideal candidate will have solid experience with all facets of a real estate transaction including examining and clearing title commitments and lender closing instructions to ensure compliance
