Description:

The AV (audiovisual) System Designer is responsible for ensuring completed designs and functionality for all projects assigned to them and their team. Daily activities include support to team members and customers, overall design concepts, developing and testing each system in house and performing final optimizations in the field. The Systems Designer is also responsible for designing of the systems integration projects on time and achieving high satisfaction from our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales teams to provide support during the sales process; review quotes and bids with the sales team and assist with initial designs.
• Responsible for understanding the customer’s scope and vision for the project and communicating that throughout the project team.
• Perform initial site walk with PM and validate performance scope with customer; approve and sign-off all final design and drawing packages.
• Design and test/commission various audiovisual integration projects.
• Lead design review with the project team; provide training to internal team members and customers on current and completed projects.
• Ensure equipment list is accurate and includes all system elements needed to complete design on-time and within budget.
• Communicate with internal team members, general contractors, and customers to ensure accuracy of onsite install.
• Problem solving and the ability to think outside the box to solve complex challenges.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of AV (audiovisual) design and install experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field highly preferred.
• CTS, CTS-I and CTS-D certifications preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Bluebeam and Visio
• Intermediate CAD knowledge
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
