Job purpose

To provide assistance with Systems Analysis on a contract at Patrick Space Force Base for 8-koi; a diverse Florida based service and consulting company that has been providing outstanding results for our clients for over 13-years.

Duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate within project teams to provide network solutions for engineering projects.
• Collaborate with project teams in the planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment.
• Collaborate with internal and government stakeholders to assure system designs comply with requirements/best practices.
• Apply methods and techniques to assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of architecture change recommendations and CONOPS change recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively manage competing demands, prioritize appropriately, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written with strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Strong at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in network communications.
• Experience designing and implementing network infrastructures in secure environments.
• Knowledge of Internet Protocols, communication protocols, data, and network security.
• Experience working with design principles and applications.
• Network + Certification preferred.
• System and network device scripting experience, preferred.
• Automated device configuration tools experience, preferred.
• Ability to travel 10%
• Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization.
• Telecommuting could be possible after initial training period.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• This position is assigned to Patrick Space Force Base, FL

Working conditions

Working conditions are within a normal office environment.

Physical requirements

Normal office environment mobility; sitting, walking, bending, stooping, standing, lifting a maximum of 25 pounds (greater than 25 pounds requires a two-person lift), turning, pushing. Normal office dexterity, to include; reaching, handling, grasping, to include typing/keyboard, and phone use.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $91,500.00 per year
