Department Overview
Job Description
- Provide advice and challenge as a partner of Tech Risk controls: Access Management, Tech Risk assessments, Issues Management and Quality Control
- Leads the assessment, monitoring and reporting on technology risks inherent to business activities and technology risk concepts
- Accountability for the integrity of the enterprise’s adherence to the technology risk management framework as it applies to technology controls
- Interprets industry experience to determine appropriate key risk indicators and monitor best practices that drive technology risk and regulatory compliance.
- Uses relationships with stakeholders to coordinate technology risk management efforts and technology risk deliverables and issue resolution.
- Challenge appropriate risk appetite for technology platform solutions and establish/review key risk indicators and monitor effectiveness
- Stay apprised of internal and external technology developments and use of innovative automation/software being used and/or considered by the Bank and what can be utilized for Risk
- Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of the technology/cyber risk appetite of the technology operating environment as it relates to tech risk.
