Description
Accountant for a growing franchise management company. DND Group has grown on average 30% annually for the past several years and is primed to continue its momentum. We are looking for a motivated and self starter to join our growing team. As a part of a small but dynamic team you will be exposed to all phases of accounting, with emphasis on cash management.
Responsibilities
- Update and review daily cash
- Make entries into accounting software program from daily cash
- Enter all food related invoices in accounting software and daily cash when appropriate
- Validate all banking transactions according to bank deadlines and company policies including but not limited to ACH debits, ACH credits and tax payments
- Research and resolve any banking exceptions
- Assist in monthly accounting close and reporting as directed
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports and statements

Qualifications / Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Self-starter
- Proficient with accounting software (either Sage or QuickBooks)
- Working knowledge of payroll software from ADP
Education/Work Experience
- Accounting degree or minimum 4 years’ experience in general accounting (including accounts payable)
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities
- Prior experience working with multiple bank accounts; including, ACH’s and wire transfers

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
