Description

Accountant for a growing franchise management company. DND Group has grown on average 30% annually for the past several years and is primed to continue its momentum. We are looking for a motivated and self starter to join our growing team. As a part of a small but dynamic team you will be exposed to all phases of accounting, with emphasis on cash management.

Responsibilities

• Update and review daily cash
• Make entries into accounting software program from daily cash
• Enter all food related invoices in accounting software and daily cash when appropriate
• Validate all banking transactions according to bank deadlines and company policies including but not limited to ACH debits, ACH credits and tax payments
• Research and resolve any banking exceptions
• Assist in monthly accounting close and reporting as directed
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Preparing financial reports and statements

Qualifications / Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Self-starter
• Proficient with accounting software (either Sage or QuickBooks)
• Working knowledge of payroll software from ADP

Education/Work Experience

• Accounting degree or minimum 4 years’ experience in general accounting (including accounts payable)
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities
• Prior experience working with multiple bank accounts; including, ACH’s and wire transfers

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
