Responsible to the Accounting Director for conducting complex assignments involving all cost, inventory, and fixed asset processes. The position requires a broad knowledge of practices and procedures and calls for originality and ingenuity in developing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all product costing within SAP, includes bi-annual cost roll.
- Responsible for all inventory accounting and related controls. includes inventory valuation, physical inventory and cycle counting.
- Responsible for all fixed asset management. Includes CIP, asset transfers, capitalization, and disposals.
- Performs journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Performs management and operational analysis and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and 4 years of experience or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
