We are seeking a paraprofessional to work at a learning center in the Peterborough, NH, and surrounding towns (Antrim, Bennington, Dublin, Francestown, Greenfield, Hancock, Sharon, and Temple). Paraprofessional responsibilities include providing staff support in an educational environment. Paraprofessionals will work with children individually or in small groups by providing basic instruction on reading, writing, math, and other education-related activities as assigned by teachers' directions.

Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the teacher provide academic support in a 1:1 General Education or Specialized Day Class setting.
• Assist with classroom management, such as by organizing instructional materials.
• Provide instructional support services under the direct supervision of a highly qualified teacher.

Potential for Travel Stipend, conditions apply

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Must have 1 or more years of experience working as a paraprofessional or with children with learning disabilities/special needs in a classroom setting.
• Charismatics and bubbly personality required

Schedule:

• 7:30 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday (Middle and High school)
• 8:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday (K and Elementary)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 per hour
