To strengthen our team in Stolberg (near Aachen, Germany) we are looking for a Software Test Engineer (f/m/d) for Simulator Systems.
Stolberg is located in the border triangle of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. There are three airports nearby: Cologne, Düsseldorf and Maastricht. There are also good train connections from Aachen: less than an hour to Maastricht or Cologne, less than 90 minutes to Brussels and less than 4 hours to Paris.
Your tasks:

Analysis of the system and customer requirements
-
Development of the testing strategy according to the specific requirements
-
You create verification and test programmes as well as the project-accompanying documentation

Implementing new testing procedures
-
Support with handovers to the customer and quality assurance measures
Your profile:
-
High technical affinity & enthusiasm for innovative technologies
-
University degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, telecomunnications or a related field
-
High sense of quality & responsibility
-
Aeronautical knowledge is an advantage
-
Several years of experience in software testing (unit, integration, system testing)
-
Very good analytical skills & a problem-solving working style
-
Basic knowledge and understanding of programming languages (C, C++, Python or similar)
-
Good understaning of best practices in software testing and test design
-
Ability to work independently, good teamwork and communication skills
-
Fluent English communication skills
-
Experience with testing tools like Squish or similar is an advantage
