In February 2021, Wheels Up entered into a merger agreement with a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) called Aspirational Consumer Lifestyle Corp. to become a publicly traded company. • Work closely with senior and principal engineers to design, build and deliver quality technology solutions
• You will be given the chance to have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers.
• As a member of the Wheels Up team, you will work closely with the business team to design and implement new features, you will use a variety of core languages and technologies including Java, C#, and React to name a few and build highly scalable services to bring the best experience to a large variety of our business
• The ideal candidate will be a leader, quick learner and be able to work independently. He/she should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical.
• The candidate will need to balance technical leadership and savvy with strong business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices
• Familiar with open-source technologies such as Kubernetes, Pravega, Delta Lake, etc

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Deep understanding and knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java or C# including object-oriented design
• Good understanding of concepts in computer science
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer obsession and ownership to drive projects and deliver results.
