As a member of the Information Services Department, the Senior Web Developer designs, develops, tests, implements and supports mission critical Web applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Designs and develops Web applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
• Participates in developing application architectures including individual applications and component designs using .NET framework.
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
• Supports users in all inquiries which may include developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Provide support and enhancements of existing in-house built applications.
• Perform installation, configuration, administration, and performance tuning of application.
• Collaborate with other departments to define requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions.
• Participate in the analysis, technical specifications, and testing (unit test, system test, and UAT) for product enhancements, bug fixes and software builds and promotions.
• Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of deployed applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application related issues.
• Monitor the health of applications, including error logs, server performance, and memory and processor usage.

• Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Web Developer is required.
• In-depth experience with SQL Server and using relational database technology including table and schema design, stored procedure development and SQL queries.
• Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including initial design/analysis through deployment and post implementation support.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with:
  • C#, MVC, VB.Net, Asp.Net, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax, Html, Html5, CSS, CSS3, Web User Interface Design (Ui), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (Rest/Soap), Bootstrap, Workflows, Angular.
• Proficient in .Net framework, Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, TFS, SQL development.
• Knowledge in ServiceNow, Integration platform are a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

VISUAL ACUITY

Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
