- Be the main contact to our existing and new potential customers – including selected large multinational accounts - in the assigned territory (Europe with focus on DACH region)
- In charge of maintaining and developing profitable growth for the Business Unit in a sustainable way
- Actively identify new opportunities (markets, applications) at existing and new customers.
- Develop and implement strategies, collaborate cross-functionally and use sales and product expertise in order to capitalize on these opportunities
- Responsibility for the achievement of a medium double digit million Euro sales budget
- Support marketing activities such as but not limited to forecasting, market information, competitive information, customer segmentation
- Implementation and monitoring of the BU-specific strategy
- Fulfilling ESHQ responsibilities and working in compliance with Röhm rules and guidelines
- Master's degree in one of the following fields: Business Management, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or similar qualification
- Minimum of 5-7 years of outside sales experience selling technical products in need of explanation to key decision-makers.
- Strong sales capabilities in building personal relationships, strong “hunter mentality” (i.e. taking on responsibility and working persistently and result oriented).
- Self-confident personality, strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated hands-on team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Distinct willingness to travel.
- Experience in the Coatings, Adhesives or Reactive Hotmelt industry is a clear plus.
- Working experience in a intercultural environment is required.
- MS Office and CRM skills are required (SAP skills preferred)
- Fluent in English and German language is mandatory
