Overview:

Embark is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will play a pivotal role in supporting Embark through our next phase of growth. This high impact position will have the opportunity to drive value through financial analysis, forecasting, impactful reporting, financial modeling, and by partnering with our leaders. The Senior Financial Analyst will liaise and communicate with key executives across the entire organization and gain exposure to all functional areas of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
  • Produce financial and operational forecasts at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze and report on current financial performance at various company levels.
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
  • Participate in annual budgeting for departments, programs, and inter-related projects
  • Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
  • Provide data-based recommendations and ideas to support business decisions and senior leadership.
  • Prepare and communicate data effectively in both oral and written formats (Email, Word, and PowerPoint) to a wide variety of users.
  • Support program and divisional leadership by delivering on-time, accurate financial insights.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the field leadership including but not limited to, Division Presidents and Executive Program Directors.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in data-driven, analytical environment
  • Experience with creative problem-solving and resolving complicated issues
  • Work history of building financial models and conducting return analyses
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into easily digestible formats for both internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors, lenders, and investors
  • Familiarity with BI tools/Data warehouses
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • A bachelor's degree with a stellar academic track record
  • Must work out of the Chandler, AZ headquarters
