Senior Concrete Estimator

Tampa, FL

We are looking for a Concrete Estimator with a minimum 5-10 year’s experience, in commercial concrete construction.

Company:

We are a licensed, high performing and competitive organization that specializes in Contractor Services for Site Work, Excavation, Underground Utilities, and Roadway Construction. Phasing into Concrete, Flatwork, Retaining Walls, Curb Installment, and Box Culverts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare an in-house budget and GMP
• Prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing for material and labor to establish a value for the work
• Understand the full scope of the project through document review and asking questions of the design team and owner

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to details
• Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with minimal structure while exercising great judgment
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Estimating, or equivalent
• Computer skills
• Experience with estimating software
• Understanding of the influence of market conditions on pricing

Compensation:

$88K-102K (depending on experience)

Monday-Friday
